Completely fogged over!!!
It was a steep climb to the parking lot for the high point, and then a 20 minute
walk to the top. Nice countryside around the highpoint area, lots of lush
valleys tucked next to hills with nice trees. Now I know why I always hear good
things about north Georgia. Driving over from South Carolina, as soon as I
crossed into Georgia the area became a lot nicer and better kept-up.
The only people I saw were a couple bicyclists, one lady on the summit path and
a couple of ALLTEL technicians at the top. There was no view from the top, even
driving up on the road it was hard to see any distance ahead. I will try to come
back when the weather is nicer if I can.
